Vintage Tech is based in Nairobi, Kenya. This page explains what happens to your information when you use vintage.odhis.co.ke, as required by Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What this site keeps
Nothing on a server. The site has no accounts and no database, and there are no tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser remembers one thing: whether you've already seen the opening countdown during this visit. It forgets that when you close the tab.
When you contact us
When you ask for a platform or apply as a studio, the site opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message filled in. The message goes straight from your app to Vintage Tech. We use what you send only to reply to you, prepare a quote or review your studio. We never sell it or share it for marketing.
We keep those messages for up to 12 months after our last conversation, unless we start working together. In that case we keep them for as long as the work and Kenyan law require.
Other services
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so those services see your IP address as part of delivering the page. Demo links lead to separate sites with their own privacy pages.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Send the request the same way you contacted us. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at odpc.go.ke.
